We are reading the book The Last Cuentista. The main character has to leave Earth to live on a new planet. Our teacher had us imagine a perfect planet. This is what I created:

Planet name: a-164b 

Planet a-164b is located in the Alpha Centauri system. Alpha Centauri is the closest star to earth. It may look normal from a distance, but planet a-164b is very interesting on the surface.  The animals and plants can talk.  The humans, animals and plants speak a common language. The language is called “GlooGlooGlaGla.” All plants are cute and look comical with big faces and eyes. Animals and plants think and talk like humans and some animal-plant species are smarter or have different characteristics. The animals and plants are all of the same species that you can find on Earth.

Humans live in peace with the plants, animals and each other. There is no government and there is no capitalist society. Humans live with the plants and animals and make them a big part of their life. If a human is bad then the general population will take care of them.  If there is a big problem, then the humans will ask the plants and animals for help, etc. 

 The majority of the human population lives in rainforest cities.  Cities have skyscrapers that are overgrown with plants and have places for wildlife to rest. Most of the planet is a tropical rainforest.  The rest of the planet is made up of small oceans and small icy polar regions. 

Planet a-164b is more advanced than earth, but if a normal Earthling went to planet a-146b, they might be able to make sense of things. This planet has things like we have on Earth, but more advanced and eco friendly. The climate is a nice 73-102º F in the rain forests. The temperature in the polar regions is -20 to 14 degrees F and most of the moisture is in ice caps. On the planet a-164b, the plants use oxygen as fertilizer, thus there is a lot more oxygen and carbon dioxide than nitrogen in the atmosphere than there is on Earth. All operations are carbon neutral and there is no global warming. Most of the rocks are very smooth because they are located around the oceans and the water sculpts them.  This also makes some rock sand beaches which is dark in color. The sky is green and in most of the region there is an aurora borealis effect. This has been a challenge for this species because it makes some of their satélites malfunction.  This planet has rings with debris that is much larger than the debris in Saturn’s rings. They can be seen individually from a great distance. There is a background of smaller debris in the rings as well.  There is one large moon with an atmosphere that also has oxygen and nitrogen and all the building blocks of life. However, it does not have an advanced species of its own.  Humans living on planet a-164b can go to there for vacation.  There is a second smaller rocky moon that does not have an atmosphere.  The smaller moon orbits farther away than the larger moon.

You may be wondering what all of the living things eat and the answer is each other. Most animals and plants are ok with other things eating them. You also have to get the animal/plant’s consent before eating it. 

This race is in the quantum computing stage. They have much higher computer processing power and the average person has this technology in their devices. All computer interfaces are in VR or hologram. Various sports events are viewed in this way.  Computer inputs are telepathic.  Humans can think about what they want to type and it automatically goes into their computer.

Overall, planet a-164b is a pretty awesome place with cute lovable plants that talk. All living species get along and live peacefully together.  Since they work well together, they can combine their efforts and advance their society and technology more efficiently.  

I will talk about more video games. I got a new video game this game is called War Thunder. Some of my friends (Links to their blogs: Jackson  and Ishan) also got this game and sometimes we play together!

War Thunder is a game where you battle against other players in tanks, boats, planes, and helicopters. You can research vehicles and upgrade them. War Thunder is one of my new favorite video games!

If you are a kid (or an adult) You might play some sort of video game from Minecraft to Fortnight. Let’s talk about some that I play.

1. Minecraft I play 2 Editions of this game. Bothe bedrock and java. Minecraft was my first real video game. Minecraft is a sandbox game meaning that you can do anything you want. In Minecraft’s case, you can build anything you want.

2. Karbal Space program Kerbal space program is a game in wich you can build things that go (including rockets airplanes rovers and anything that you can imagine). The game has a large array of planets and moons all with different characteristics such as gravity and atmospheres.

 

Look out fore move games that I play in the future!

For Halloween, I was Hopper from  the Netflix show, Stranger Things. Halloween originated as the Celtic festival  known as Samhain. Samhain was a day marking the end of summer and the beginning of winter which was associated with death. On Halloween, I get a costume and start trick or treating other in my neighborhood, or in one of my friend’s neighborhood. My grandma also makes chili and we make corn muffins for dinner. My favorite candy is Tootsie Rolls. If  YOU have extra candy, you may want to donate it to Just Tryan it which gives candy to kids in the UNC hospital candy if they can’t trick or treat.

Over the summer I read the book finding someplace. It was summer reading.

In the book Finding Someplace by Denise Lewis Patrick, the main character, Reese, who lives in New Orleans, has to go through Hurricane Katrina. The author, Denise Lewis Patrick did a great job writing this book and it is very realistic. I think that he is a good author. In the book Reese packs a backpack full of things that she wants to keep with her because she knows that her house may be damaged. If I had to make a backpack, if there was some sort of similar situation then I would imagine myself running around my house frantically getting things to put in my backpack. If I had to do this then one thing that I would put in my backpack is my computer’s SSD. This would hopefully allow me to recover all the data that was on my computer. The next thing that I would bring is some general first aid supplies. I would also bring one of my favorite stuffed animals, named Doggy. The next thing that I would bring Is a lot of clean drinking water. In the book Reese brings an envelope full of important papers. I would do a simpler thing and bring some important papers and documents. I would also bring my wallet with all of my money in it so I could buy stuff if I needed it. I would also bring a snack so I would have something to eat. I would also bring a hat and a jacket. Next I would bring our family iPad and a bunch of chargers and power banks. The next thing I would bring would be a flash drive called DNF which has a bunch of photos. I would also bring My digital diary which is also a flash drive. The last thing that I would bring would be a good book. I also might bring a card that I made for my mom and something I made for my dad and maybe some things that are important to them. That is what I would bring if I had to leave my house and only bring a backpack full of stuff.

 

 

A while ago, my grade went to a sleep away camp called Camp Hanes.  The camp is in King, North Carolina. After we came back, We wrote thank-you notes. Here is my My Thank-you note.

 

Dear Camp Hanes,

       Thank you so much for hosting us (DA) at your camp. I had an AWESOME time! This was actually my first sleep away activity with school and YOU MADE IT AWESOME! My favorite activities were canoeing and climbing. Sahara was awesome and extremely upbeat. Another great thing about our stay was the FOOD!!!! I had heard that the food was good and it was DELICIOUS! My favorite food that was served were the chicken tenders. Thank you so much for hosting us.
